Types of travel class and baggage you can take on board
Depending on what travel class you choose, you will be able to bring onboard:
LOT Business Class – 2 pieces, each up to 9 kg;
LOT Premium Economy (intercontinental flights) – 2 pieces up to 12 kg (joint weight) – maximum weight for 1 item is 8 kg;
LOT Premium Economy (international flights) – 1 piece up to 8 kg;
LOT Economy Class – 1 piece up to 8 kg;
LOT Economy Simple – 1 piece up to 8 kg.
If your carry-on baggage exceeds those dimensions, there are additional charges which apply as follows:

LOT Hand luggage allowance
Hand luggage is a small bag, a laptop bag or a purse that does not exceed the dimensions of 40 cm x 35 cm x 12 cm and can be brought on board free of charge and placed underneath the front seat. This also applies to collapsible baby strollers and pushchairs.
LOT Checked baggage allowance
The number of pieces of luggage that you can check for domestic and international flight differs depending on the ticket class you purchase.

LOT Excess baggage
If you want to travel with LOT and take additional baggage that is not included in the ticket price, the airline allows this for an extra fee.

LOT pet policy
Pets are permitted onboard LOT flights, both in cabin and cargo hold. Note that animals must be minimum 3 months old and at least 21 days have passed since the last important vaccination against rabies, 30 days when travelling to USA.
