Cabin baggage, often referred to as accompanied baggage, defines the piece of luggage that passengers can place in the compartment above their seats or under the seat in front of them.

Any passenger is entitled to bring one hand luggage piece into the aircraft. Max dimensions of this baggage are 55 x 45 x 20 cm and weight restriction is 8 kg, except for Business Flex ticket holders, who can bring an item up to 12 kg.

Pegasus also allows a personal item like a handbag, purse or laptop bag no larger than 35 x 20 x 20 cm to be carried inside the cabin.

Excess baggage defines the additional pieces of luggage a passenger can purchase or an increased weight limit of already purchased luggage.

If the customer purchases additional weight in 5 kg units, the maximum weight allowed for the item will be 30 kg, while purchases in 10 kg units rise the maximum weight up to 50 kg.

Additional carry-on items with Pegasus Airlines

Pegasus baggage policy states musical instruments can be transported in the cabin, as long as they meet the restrictions applied for hand luggage.
Items that can’t satisfy this criteria have a fee of $45 USD in international flights and can be conveyed in the cabin, using an extra seat that the passenger must pay, or in the cargo hold area if the instrument/case is too bulky to fit in a seat.

Pegasus pet policy

Passengers can transport cats, dogs and birds on domestic flights and cats and dogs on international flights. However, predatory, wild or fighting birds and dogs are not allowed under any circumstance; this rule affects dog breeds like Boxers, Dobermans, Pit Bulls or Rottweilers, among others.

The container box should not exceed 50 x 32 x 32 cm and the joint weight of the animal + container must be inferior to 8 kg if the passenger wants his/her animal to travel in the cabin. The following fees apply:
