Transavia cabin baggage
Cabin baggage, often referred to as accompanied baggage, defines the piece of luggage that passengers can place in the compartment above their seats under the seat in front of them.
For a guaranteed cabin transport, Transavia baggage policy allows luggage of a maximum size of 55 x 40 x 25cm weighing up to 10 kg.
Please note that small bags such as laptop bags are also considered 1 hang luggage item, so is not possible to carry 2 items in the cabin (i.e.: a laptop bag + a small suitcase).
Transavia hold luggage
Customers who purchase Plus or Max tickets have one piece of baggage included in the price of up to 20 kg and 30 kg, respectively. Nevertheless, Transavia luggage allowance permits the passengers up to 5 pieces, whose price is determined by the weight, moment of purchase and destination.

Transavia excess baggage
Excess baggage defines the additional pieces of luggage a passenger can purchase or an increased weight limit of already purchased luggage.
If the passenger ends up taking more hold luggage than booked, extra hold luggage can be purchased. Transavia baggage policy states that in such case, an excess baggage fee of 15€ per 5 kg needs to be paid at the airport.

Transavia musical instruments fees
Transavia recommends that fragile musical instruments should be carried in the cabin, if they fit into the weight and dimensions established for this kind of luggage. Musical instruments whose case is not larger than 110 x 44 x 65cm nor heavier than 20 kg. can be transported using an extra seat paid by the customer. Examples of musical instruments that meet these requirements are a viola, violin, flute, clarinet, bugle or trumpet.
The remaining musical instruments are conveyed in the cargo hold area.

Transavia pet policy
Dogs and cats are allowed on board, as long as the container box has a max. size of 47 x 30 x 27cm and the joint weight of the animal and the container is not heavier than 10 kg. The price is 45€ per flight.
The rest of the animals will travel in the cargo hold area, subjected to a price of 75€ per flight. The container for the animals in the cargo cannot exceed 102 x 69 x 76cm and the maximum joint weight allowed is 75 kg.
